The story was created from these first thoughts.

Draco’s mind goes into overdrive as he recalls his very first memory; feasting on dragons. The only living beast with blood enough to sustain him. Alone for a trillion years, he moved through the galaxy until he found people in his own image with blood that sang to him. Earth became his feeding ground until he found a home in the Draco galaxy. He had learned about family from the humans, and it was here that he created his own. Finally, having his own kin, he settles down and accepts the title King of the vampires.

The story 

Skipping centuries, we come to today. Draco’s kingdom is in peril, and he finds vampires have a use by date, and his is almost up.

How can he save his people one more time when his life is slipping away?

There is one man he trust to help and goes with him on a crusade to find a cure. Gabe, his best friend, has no intentions of allowing fate to take his king and continues to fight tooth and nail to save him. So, when he meets a sorceress who captivates and has the healing qualities he sources, why does he want her dead?
Gabe knows he cannot let her live if she has that much power over his king. It’s a recipe for disaster and sets about stopping her.

Powerful emotions, a love story far beyond normal and a vicious ex who wants the king dead. This story will have any vampire fan salivating and living on the edge, while following the king’s love affair that keeps getting torn apart by outside influences.
