Welcome, devilish readers. Have I got a book for you today?

The book chosen for you this week is a tale of a vampire so old; he claims to be the first. His position has everyone shake in their boots, and blood maidens swoon over him in droves. But he searches for someone special, he calls the one!

The story is of an empire taken and a battle plan is essential to take it back. But amid every vampire thriller, there must be some blood lusting sex scenes as we all expecting vampires to be a little naughtier than most. Because they can!

How to make this story stand out from the rest? The hundred vampire stories I have read use words like cock, dick, tits, minge and fanny (to name a few). However, I wanted this story to differ slightly from other vampire romance novels. I was also pushed by Lola, my muse, to not only make a splash in the gigantic pool of media noise but make it a story I would enjoy reading, too.

Before beginning Draco, I spent hours deliberating and searching for a voice for the king. Most books I flipped through in my stash linked words in a sentence to create a sex scene. Comments like, suck my cock/ he pumped his pulsating cock into her wet pussy, etc. I wanted the king to be old school, gentlemanly like, and yet as sexy as hell.

So, I did a take on Shakespeare. Not getting into the obvious, “thee thou etc” and everything ending in, “eth.” That would have driven me and fans of this story crazy. Considering this, I did a twist on the early modern English period between 1500’s to 1750.

This allowed me to use words many of us have not heard of unless studying Shakespeare and that era.

My muse liked it and even stopped me to find unfamiliar words to use throughout the story to keep the vampire king connected to the old world voice, allowing him to enjoying a new world romance with all the sizzle and grunt it needed.

Until the end of March, DRACO the vampire king is staying on promotion to give readers a chance to discover this paranormal romance at an affordable price.
